We've got you covered. Whether you like swimming, spinning, yoga, the treadmill, free weights, pilates, tennis, pickleball, crossfit or just enjoying a steam room, we have a comprehensive list of where you can find your favorite workouts while on vacation.

Do you enjoy working out while on vacation? Do you look forward to having the time to try some new classes that you may not otherwise get to do during your regularly scheduled routine?  One of the top questions we are asked by our vacation rental clients is “where can we work out?” or “do yoga, Pilates, etc.”  In this week’s blog we will provide some great tips for our health- conscious Vineyard visitors.

First let’s talk about gyms on Martha's Vineyard. Gyms are great because they offer workout equipment, classes and some other great perks. So, if you’re here for a week or more, a pass to one of these locations may cover a lot of what you’re looking for.

The YMCA of Martha’s Vineyard is certainly one of the most popular health clubs on the island. Located in Oak Bluffs, it offers over 70 weekly Group Exercise classes including spin, yoga, Zumba, lap pool, swim lessons, basketball court, personal trainers, child watch, Aquila coffee and smoothies, summer camps for kids and so much more!

While we try to cover as many Yoga and Pilates studios as possible there are others that exist that may not have websites and during the summer many yoga classes are offered around the island outside!  This website offers a comprehensive list of Yoga classes on Martha’s Vineyard- check it out! MarthasVineyardYoga.com
